shakedown feedback... |
Cheers to those who helped me...After listening to all of the purposed versions the two clear winners are:
1979-10-25 (five star and beyond)...AND...12/31/81 (solid four star performance)...I have my work cut out for me as to which 'one' to pick...Gratefully yours, 'JEEPER'

Re: shakedown feedback... |
Ahh, the same 2 I mentioned. I guess we both look for similar things in a Shakedown. I know I initially said 10/25/79 takes the cake, but on second though I really do prefer 12/31/81 for Jerry's explosive guitar playing and killer vocals. 12/31 was just a magical performance. My favorite NYE show.

Re: shakedown feedback... |
12/31 musically is worthy, but Brent's vocal contribution sucked all the value out of it...

Re: shakedown feedback... |
listen to 12-05-1979, a better version than 10-25
12-31-1981 is decent, for the year 08-28-1981 is better
12-30-1983, 06-30-1985, 03-27-1985 are other exemplary versions
